Nashville recording artist Jake Owen is coming to Salem for the first time in his successful career. Owen, who has seven number one songs to his credit, is just the latest chart-topping artist to book a date with the Salem Civic Center during the arena’s 50th anniversary season. Tickets for his October 11 appearance are set to go on sale Friday, August 17.
One week after Owen’s single, “I Was Jack (You Were Diane),” hit No. 1 on the country airplay charts, he announced the second leg of his “Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour 2018.” When the road show rolls into Salem, it will include special guests Tyler Farr and Morgan Wallen.
“I really do believe that life’s whatcha make it,” says Owen. “That’s actually a line from my new single ‘Down to the Honkytonk’ and I’m so pumped to announce that the second leg of the ‘Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour’ will be starting this fall. It’s going to be an awesome way to wrap-up such a great year.”
Reserved seat tickets for the Salem concert are $59.75, $39.75 and $25. Pit area tickets are $59.75 and preferred parking is available for $5. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, August 17, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Salem Civic Center Box Office (Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), by phone at 800-745-3000 or through Ticketmaster.com.
