One of the biggest communities in Salem is Main Street. It stretches from the East boarder to the West boarder of Salem. On the western side is a tight community of retailers consisting of Vintage Vault, Main Street Primitives, and Salem Antique Market.
Connie Drennen started Main Street Primitives over a decade ago, in the location that now homes Salem Antique Market. She has grown a following of loyal customers that come from all over the region. So, when her sister was looking to change her career path it was an easy decision to go into retail. Less than half a mile away from Main Street Primitives in an old bank building sits the Vintage Vault. Pamela, with the help of her sister Connie, opened the vintage inspired clothing shop last year.
Vintage Vault, Main Street Primitives and Salem Antique Market create a tight community on Salem’s Main Street. They even hosted an open house together last month. Every business encourages their customers to check out the other. It is nice to see these women coming together in support of each other.
