Salem School Division Offers Free Meals This Summer

Salem City Schools are providing free meals this summer at G.W. Carver Elementary School. This opportunity began this Tuesday, June 28, and it ends on Friday, August 5. Meal serving times are from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the G.W. Carver cafeteria.

HERE ARE THE SUMMER OF 2022 GUIDELINES:

• Meals are provided at no cost to children and teens ages 18 and younger who come to the G.W. Carver Elementary cafeteria

• The meals, which follow USDA guidelines, must be consumed at the cafeteria

• No application or proof of income is needed. Just bring your child or children to the summer meals site at Carver

• PLEASE NOTE: No meals will be served on Monday, July 4
