Annual Easter Egg Hunt Set for March 19

The City of Salem Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 19, at Longwood Park from 1-4 p.m.

Children will need to bring a container to collect the eggs, and the Easter Bunny will be making a visit to give out candy and say hello to the kids. The Salem Art Center also have arts and crafts activities for the children. In addition, free food samples such as popcorn, ice cream, and milk will be available.

Festival Begins at 1 p.m.
Children ages 3-4 and 7-8 will begin at 2 p.m.
Children ages 5-6 and 9-10 will begin at 2:30 p.m.

The event, which will be held rain or shine, is presented by McDonald’s of Salem, Salem Kiwanis Club and MedExpress. For additional information, call the Salem Parks and Recreation Department at 375-3057.
