Movies at Longwood moved to August 19th with "Inside Out"

The City of Salem Parks and Recreation Department will continue its 2016 outdoor movie season at Longwood Park on Friday, August 19th. The animated Disney-Pixar hit “Inside Out” - featuring the voices of Amy Poehler, Kaitlyn Diaz and Phyllis Smith - will begin at dusk, around 9 p.m., and admission is absolutely free.

This year’s series will conclude with the Disney classic “Remember The Titans” on September 17.

The first 50 families to arrive for each feature presentation will receive a free bag of popcorn or chips courtesy of Frito Lay. Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the concession stand and everyone is welcome to bring chairs and a blanket. This event is designed for the entire family to enjoy a night at the movies under the stars.

The 2016 Movies at Longwood season is sponsored by MedExpress Urgent Care of Salem and presented by the Salem Parks and Recreation Department. No roller blades, skateboards or pets are allowed on the premises. For additional information call Salem Parks and Recreation at 375-3057.
