Salem Police Seek Suspect in Road Rage Incident

On Thursday, July 7, at approximately 3 p.m., the Salem Police Department responded to the 100 block of Upland Drive in reference to a road rage incident.

Officers received a complaint from two juvenile males, between the ages of 13 and 15, who were riding skateboards at the time of the incident. The teenagers told officers that the adult male, who was driving a black SUV, cursed and verbally harassed them as he drove his vehicle east on Upland Drive.

The driver was described as a white male in his mid-30s with brown hair and thin facial hair. Anyone having information about the crime or the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Salem Police Department at (540) 375-3078 or Roanoke Crime Line (540) 344-8500.
