Street Department workers collect loose leaves at the curbside on a regular basis from October 25, 2021 through December 31, 2021. The City is broken-up into sections with a leaf truck assigned to each section. City crews collect leaves for each section; completing the entire City, then starting anew. The City has also invested in automated leaf trucks to make this process quicker and more efficient; however, these machines cannot handle sticks, branches, twigs, stumps, logs, lumber, garbage or any other debris which can cause damage to the vehicle. We will not pick up leaf piles with other materials in them! Please keep your brush, garbage and leaf piles separated.

From January 3, 2022 through March 11, 2022, City crews will collect leaves on an "as needed" basis ONLY. During this January-March time period, residents must notify the Street Department at 375-3039 to schedule a loose leaf pick-up time.

Loose leaves will not  be collected after March 11, 2022. After that time, they must be bagged or boxed in order to be picked up.

They must be bagged or boxed in order to be picked up after March 11.
