Sweet Treats and Where to Find Them

With the warm weather rolling in, we can finally start spending more time outside. A favorite way to end a walk is with a sweet treat. Here is a list of all the sweet treats within walking distance to Downtown Salem.

Champloo

Champloo has rolled ice cream, boba tea, coffee, tea, and many other items you might want to try. They offer almost any flavor you could want. Making it easy to please everyone in the group. Plus, they are always friendly.

Our Daily Bread Bakery

Fresh baked goodies ready to be eaten. Our Daily Bread makes everything fresh in house every day.  They offer delicious pastries and cakes.

Sunset Slush

The best place to get Italian ice in Salem is at Sunset Slush. They have every flavor you could think of.

Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea

Mill Mountain also offers fresh baked sweets. In addition to eclairs, cheesecake, and cookies, they have bagels from Roanoke Bagel Company. Or, stop in and get coffee, tea, or an Italian soda.

Salem Farmers Market

The Famers Market is the best place to get goodies straight from the source. Many of them are fried right in front of you. There are also endless fresh fruits, veggies, honey, eggs, and cakes! If sweets aren’t your thing you can pick up a handcrafted item such as soap!
