Spring Time in Salem

Parks

Go have fun in one of the City of Salem’s parks. Several include playgrounds for children. Pack a lunch and have a nice day looking at the blossoming flowers.

Hit a Trail

Get your exercise in and enjoy the new warmth on the greenway. There are several greenway access points in Salem. The trails are available for walking, running, or biking. You can also stop by Parkway Brewery on the Hanging Rock Trail.

Go Geocaching

If you haven’t tried geocaching you need to try it. Similar to a worldwide treasure hunt, individuals use an app to find little “caches” hidden in the world. Some are small, with log books, and some are large with trinkets that can be traded out.

Enjoy a Red Sox Game

Salem is lucky to have the Advanced A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox in our city. Enjoy the opening game on April 5th!
