MOWING SERVICES

The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from qualified Bidders to provide mowing and trimming services at various locations, in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2023-017.

One (1) original and one (1) copy of the sealed bid will be received at the office of the Purchasing Department for the City of Salem until 3:00 PM on March 9, 2023, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in City Hall, 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia 24153.

The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding. 

No bid may be withdrawn after opening except for clerical errors, as set forth in Section 2.2-4330 of the Virginia Code. Bidder must give the City a notice in writing of the request to withdraw a bid within two (2) business days after conclusion of opening.

Concrete

The City of Salem, Virginia, is requesting sealed bids from qualified and licensed Bidders to provide and load concrete on a daily or as needed basis, in accordance with Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2023-022.

Sealed bids will be accepted in the City of Salem Purchasing Department, located at 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia 24153, on or before 3:00 p.m., on March 23, 2023, at which time the bids will be opened. Bid documents may be obtained by calling 540-375-3063 or emailing rjordan@salemva.gov.
