Thompson Memorial Drive is one of the most important entrance corridors in the City of Salem, and it deserves a thoughtful discussion about its future.  That’s why this fall the City of Salem will be holding a visioning process to gather public insight and direction to help determine the future of the Thompson Memorial area.   Please attend a Public Workshop at The Salem Museum, on Tuesday the 27th-  from 5 to 7pm.   We are very interested in understanding your perspective and thoughts on such topics as land use, zoning, green space, standards for new development, pedestrian and bike access, and more! City Staff and other technical representatives will be on hand to hear your thoughts, share information, and discuss corridor challenges and opportunities.   Thank you for your interest and participation.   Or contact: Benjamin W. Tripp, City Planner, at 375-3032 or btripp@salemva.gov
