The City of Salem wants to spruce up the City Council Chambers in the Administration building with original art scenes or photography of the city. Citizens are invited to donate works that depict the community. If you are interested in talking to someone about this project, contact Melinda Payne at 375-4112.

WINTERFEST THIS THURSDAY!!                                          
Thursday, 11th - Winterfest Beach Bash, Salem Civic Center, 5 p.m., doors open at 4:30 p.m.,  Featuring the summertime sounds of the "Band of Oz", Tickets are STILL ON SALE  at the Salem Parks & Recreation Department - Main Office, 620 Florida Street: $8/$10 at the door. Saturday, 27th - "Easter Egg Hunt", Longwood Park, 1 - 3 p.m. (1 p.m. - ages 3 - 6 years), (1:30 p.m. - ages 7 - 12), Come visit the Easter Bunny and hunt for Easter Eggs filled with candy and prizes.
