Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Salem is desirous of receiving views of citizens within the City of Salem regarding appointments to fill expiring terms of members on certain boards and commissions for the calendar year 2016. Council will be considering applications of interested individuals, along with current members, for appointments to the following boards and commissions:

Current Boards and Commissions

All candidates seeking appointment to any of the above boards and commissions are required to be a resident of the corporate limits of the City of Salem. Please submit résumés to the Clerk of Council, City of Salem, P. O. Box 869, Salem, Virginia 24153-0869, stating desired board or commission in order to be considered by Salem City Council. Candidates may be interviewed individually by City Council.
