Mission Statement
We
will fairly and diligently work to provide the most
effective and safe delivery of services in the areas of court
security, service of civil process, and execution of lawful
orders of the court, by interacting with court personnel,
city officials, and other law enforcement agencies to ensure
a safe court services environment for our citizens.
The Salem Sheriff's Office is responsible for courtroom security, transportation of prisoners, and serving civil law processes
