Friday, 25th - "Salem After Five" Summer Concert Series, 5:30 p.m. Salem Farmers Market, Featuring "Burning Bridges" Admission: Adults $5/Children 12 and under are free. Proceeds to benefit the Council of Community Services. Children's play area and food court. (540) 375-3057

Saturday, 26th - "Jazz in July" , Longwood Park, 3 - 9:30 p.m., Admission is free,

Saturday, 20th - "Family Fall Festival" , Presented by Salem Parks & Recreation and the Miss Virginia Pageant Association. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Salem Farmers Market. There will be a carnival, kid's activities and games, crafts, a food court, and lots of other activites throughout the day.

OCTOBER

Friday, 3rd - "Oktoberfest", 5 - 9 p.m., Salem Farmers Market, Presented by Salem Parks & Recreation, Proceeds benefit Crime Line of the Roanoke Valley, Bands TBA, food court featuring German food, and a children's play area. (540) 375-3057

Saturday, 18th - "Movies at Longwood", Dark, "E.T.", Admission is free. Concessions will be available to purchase from Fun Times. Bring a chair and blanket and enjoy a movie under the stars. Sponsored by VIBE 100.

Saturday 25th - "Pumpkinfest" , 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Salem Farmers Market. Trick or Treating with the Downtown Merchants will begin at 10 a.m. Presented by Salem Parks & Recreation and

Q99-FM.  There will be pumpkin contest followed by an auction and proceeds will benefit C.H.I.P. We will also have a costume contest, children's activities, food, and much more!! (540) 375-3057
