Parks and Recreation

The Salem Bike Route is an 11.2 mile round trip course designed for all ages and skill levels. Please observe all traffic regulations while enjoying the course.

Directions: From Longwood Park go left onto Monroe St then take right onto Craig Ave.; left on Cleveland, cross Thompson Memorial Drive; right on High St.; left on Hawthorn Rd; left on N Broad St; right on Delaney Ln; left on Academy; right on Taylor Ave; left on Blair St; left on Lewis Ave; cross West Main St; changes to Chestnut St; left on 2nd St; right on Union St; right on Eddy Ave; right on Front Ave; left on Mulberry St; rt on Piedmont Ave which turns into Riverside Drive; continue on Riverside to Mill Ln; left on Mill Ln; left on Cloyd St; right on Ellison Ave; left on Smythe St; right on Twelve O’Clock Knob Rd; turnaround at fork at Powell Drive. Watch for sign!

Return: From Twelve O’Clock Knob Rd; left on Smythe St; right on Ellison Ave; left on Cloyd St; Cloyd turns back into Mill Lane; follow Mill Lane to Spartan Dr; cross Main Street to Spartan Drive and turn right into parking lot in front of K-mart; follow through parking lot until you reach Goodwin Ave; go right out of parking lot onto Goodwin then left on Richards Ln; left on North Bruffey St; right on Logan St; left on Valleydale Ave; left on Highfield Rd; right on West Carrollton Ave; right on North Broad St; left on Hawthorn Rd; right on High Street; left on Clay St; cross Thompson Memorial Dr; left on Craig; left on Monroe St and then right into Longwood Park.
