The Engineering Department is responsible for management of engineering and construction projects throughout the City. Other responsibilities:

Erosion and Sediment Control Administration and Inspection
Construction Inspection
City Mapping, GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS (Global Positioning Systems)
Engineering Design.
Site Plan Review
Surveying
