Tickets for the event are just $15 and kids three-and-under will be admitted free. Gates open at 5 p.m., the music begins at 6 p.m. and the event will end at 9 p.m.
Tickets go on sale August 3 at 10 a.m. at the Salem Parks & Recreation Department, which is located at 620 Florida St. in Salem. Proceeds benefit the Salem Rotary Club’s charitable endeavors.
The event also will feature bar-b-q restaurants from around the valley selling dinner plates and desserts. For additional information call Salem Parks and Recreation at 540-375-3057.
The Salem Parks & Recreation will be closed on September 7th to observe Labor Day. We will open back up at 8 a.m. on September 8th.

About the Movie:
When monsters want to get away from it all, they go to Count Dracula's Hotel Transylvania, a lavish resort where they can be themselves without humans around to bother them. On one special weekend, Dracula invites creatures like the Invisible Man, the Mummy and others to celebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter, Mavis. However, an unforeseen complication unfolds when an ordinary human unwittingly crashes the party and falls in love with Mavis.
Admission is free!! Starts at dark. Bring chairs and a blanket and join us for a movie under the stars!! Concessions will be available to purchase from Fun Times. First 50 families will receive a free bag of popcorn from Frito Lay.

The “Gingerbread Festival” will be held at Salem Library presented by the Salem Roanoke Chamber. There will be pictures with Santa, children’s activities, several vendors and hot cider.
The Salem Parks & Recreation offices will be closed on Friday, December 25th for Christmas Day. We will open back up on Monday, December 28th.
