The Department of Parks & Recreation provides the citizens of Salem with year round programs and activities, which are geared for all ages.  Programs are divided into: Senior Citizens Center, James I. Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of citizens through professionally managed recreation programs, tournaments, and special events that foster economic impact, promote healthy lifestyles, social interaction, and civic pride among participants.
