On May 17, Eric Mallory, 31, was indicted by a Salem Grand Jury on 14 charges in reference to an ongoing investigation by the Salem Police Department. Mallory was previously arrested by Salem Police on March 8, 2013, and charged with Taking Indecent Liberties with a Minor.

That investigation was initiated by a complaint that Mallory was suspected of having an inappropriate relationship with a female under the age of 16 at his home, which was located in the 900 block of Delaware Street in Salem. During the course of that investigation, a second victim was identified, who also was under the age of 16.

Mallory was taken into custody today at approximately 11 a.m. without incident and charged with the following offenses:

-5 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
-3 Counts of Taking Indecent Liberties with a Minor
-3 Counts of Sodomy
-2 Counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery
-1 Count of Object Sexual Penetration

Mallory is currently being held without bond in the Roanoke County/Salem Jail.
